If you don’t love it, you’re going to fail. – Steve Jobs

With a wealth of sales experience, it was necessary to dive in to something that is a passion and a hobby. Auctions. The thrill of getting a fantastic deal has always been a great time, so why not cut out the middle man and create a platform to offer great deals to everyone? Lo and behold, The Bargain Counter was formed.

The goal from day one was always to give something different from our auctions, plus give bidders a chance to get the lowest price possible on every item. With our 48 hour auctions, it seems like this is the perfect way to do it. No long auctions, just quick and get on to the next one. You’ll see more items this way and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how this has turned out.

Once Covid-19 came into our lives, which was destroying everything in it’s path, it was clear that not one of us would ever be the same again. Our jobs, our income, the way we shop, the way we interact with other people, and the way our daily routine has been compromised. The Bargain Counter was planned before Covid-19, but I can assure you, the low prices and the online presence was always going to be there. More than ever, Canadians need a pricing break somewhere and we’re the place to do it. Everyday essentials and unique items will always be up for grabs. We hope The Bargain Counter is a place where you’ll enjoy hanging out.

In closing, I hope you have as much fun here as I did planning and getting this out to the public.

Thank you and I hope you have many successful bids!

Cheers!
